Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance Launches Nordic Pulse for Winter Trail Grooming Maps & New Events

December 26, 2022 - (Jackson, WY) Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance, a partnership of over 50 local organizations and supporters, is launching new grooming trail maps showing the latest status of freshly groomed trails on JHNordic.com in a new partnership with Nordic Pulse.

Nordic skiers and winter trail users can find the latest grooming status directly on JHNordic.com Home page and Grooming page, with synchronized updates directly from our regional trail groomers via the embedded Nordic Pulse app. Look for green-colored trails for trails groomed today, and yellow trails for trails groomed in the last 1-3 days. A weekly schedule of groomed trails is also on the Grooming page to plan when to ski and ride on the latest groomed trails.

We’re also excited to bring back the JH Nordic Alliance Annual Free Ski-Fat Bike-Snowshoe Event at Turpin Meadow Ranch on Sunday, January 8th.  This annual community family-friendly event includes free Nordic/winter trail activities, and trail passes: demo skate and classic cross-country skis, demo fat bikes, skate, and classic ski lessons, snowshoe and backcountry Nordic ski tours, “Kids Corral” for ages 2-5, wildlife info, forest rangers, and trail ambassadors, and a giant raffle benefiting Friends of Bridger Teton. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and hot drinks by the fire in the historic Turpin Meadow Ranch lodge. All are welcome. Register online here.

New this winter, the Wydaho Nordic Race series brings together a number of favorite regional classic and freestyle/skate ski races hosted by our local Nordic Ski centers and Ski Clubs, plus a new Nordic Season Finale Race at Trail Creek Nordic. Races include the Betty
