September 20, 2026 - Dear customer, We would like to inform you of an important development for Madshus, and about what it means for how we serve your market going forward.

New ownership and management
Madshus has been acquired by ConsilTech, the Czech industrial company that already owns the ski brand Kästle and a modern ski factory in Nové Město in the Czech Republic, effective immediately.

Former Rottefella head Torstein Myklebostad becomes the new CEO and co-owner of Madshus. He brings nearly two decades in the ski industry, the last ten years as CEO of the ski binding manufacturer Rottefella. Fredrik Kjellberg, who has led Madshus until now, is taking on a new role as Chief Marketing Officer of Elevate Outdoor Collective.

Madshus in the US market
In the US market, Madshus has until now been handled by Elevate Outdoor Collective (EOC). With immediate effect, responsibility for Madshus in the US market is being taken over by the Kästle USA organization. This brings Madshus together with Kästle under one roof in the US and ensures continued, dedicated service to our customers.

For products sold under the Madshus brand, your sales contact continues to be your Madshus sales representative, who now works directly with Henrik Kvissel, Sales Director at Madshus. Order processing, customer service and after-sales support will be handled by the Kästle USA back office. Existing orders and commitments continue uninterrupted through this transition.

For all other EOC brands, it remains business as usual, and your existing contacts continue to apply.

Who do I contact about my orders and account?
For all questions about orders, invoices and your account, please contact Lauri Anzuoni at Kästle USA (lauri.anzuoni@kaestle.com). Your Madshus sales representative remains your contact for pricing, terms and assortment.

Who is my contact for warranty support?
Warranty claims for Madshus products are handled by Kästle USA. Please send claims to Lauri Anzuoni with the article number, a description of the issue and photos. Claims already registered with EOC will be transferred and completed.

When can I expect to receive an update on my prebooked orders?
All prebooked orders remain valid and are being transferred to the new setup. Your Madshus sales representative will confirm your prebooked orders, including quantities and expected delivery windows, by the end of September. If you have not received a confirmation by then, please get in touch.

When will my orders start shipping?
We will get in individual contact with retailers on order status, and when orders can be expected to ship.

Am I still working with my same Madshus sales rep?
Yes. Your Madshus sales representative continues to serve you. The representatives now work directly with Henrik Kvissel, Sales Director at Madshus, instead of through EOC. Your rep will contact you to confirm the new order and service routines.

How can I place new orders?
New orders are placed through your Madshus sales representative or directly with Lauri Anzuoni at Kästle USA. Order forms, price lists and the B2B ordering platform will be made available to you by Kästle USA. Until then, orders sent by e-mail are processed as usual.
