What is the CXC Bike Drawing Fundraiser?
The TREK bike drawing fundraiser supports the CXC Adaptive Program, which provides adaptive sit-ski equipment and helps individuals with disabilities experience cross-country skiing.

The Creation of Accessible Sit-Skis
Motivated by a desire to support individuals with physical disabilities, CXC partnered with the UW–Madison Engineering Department in 2008 to design an adjustable sit-ski frame suitable for both youth and adults with a wide range of needs.

Thanks to the vision of Don Becker and UW–Madison Professor Jay Martin, what began as a prototype in Martin’s garage has evolved into a fully developed sit-ski. These skis are now used in state parks and adaptive exercise programs, offering many a new way to connect with the outdoors.

Ticket sales will close once all 250 tickets are sold. We’ll draw a winner on Monday, July 21.
CXC will contact the winner to confirm the bike choice and arrange delivery.
