January 1, 2026 - The Whitehorse Nordic Centre features close to 100km of trails that are groomed for classic and skate skiing, with routes that range from easy loops to more challenging terrain.

Winter runs deep here from mid-November to mid-April and there’s a good chance of seeing the northern lights.
The variety of terrain, featuring forest and mountain views, meets the needs of skiers of all levels. There are three warming huts along the trails for breaks or lunch.

Home to 2,400 members, the largest membership in Canada in 24/25, indoor amenities feature waxing benches, change rooms, showers, sauna, and hot wax room.
Plus there are popular family-friendly weekly events including the Yukon Ski Marathon, a local favourite, being held on March 21, 2026.
Just minutes from downtown Whitehorse, new this year, trail passes are also available through AirNorth Getaways, the Yukon’s airline, which offers packages with flights, accommodations, and ski passes.
