The traditional Traversée de Charlevoix route takes skiers 105km from St-Urbain to Mont Grand Fonds. But with the completion of the new Uapishtan hut last year, the organization now offers a new 127km route, Le Sentier de l’Orignac, from St-Urbain to St-Siméon, dubbed ‘’The crossing from the Mountains to the Sea’’ route.

The challenging, well marked routes offer up to +3982m/–4720m of elevation gain/loss and abundant snow warrants Nordic skis or very light touring skis — conditions dependent. The use of skins is highly recommended.

Cabins can be rented, for exclusive group trips, and services such as luggage and food transportation, or food drops by snowmobile, are also available. Fully guided expeditions are offered by Quatre Natures.
