February 12, 2021 - (Twin Lakes, Ontario)- Hello to local supporters of XC skiing. In solidarity with all XCSkiers, during COVID we’re learning how amazing XC Skiing has been in more and more places.

I literally step out my back door on a lake in Greely/Osgoode and slip on my classic or skate skis and away I go. So I’ve collected some vids and stitched them together into a vid as a tool to share the fun, as well as the learning and as a potential link in case I sell my house. The feedback from newbies has been pretty amazing since it was published on February 5.

Anyway, in solidarity here is that video.

My belief is that outdoor winter fun is essential to the value of your quality of life and home and my guess is, so do you? As far as property value, it would make sense that this is an important element for both Ottawa tourism and the NCC to underline. XC skiing makes Ottawa a morte attractive place to visit and to make your new home or relocate within if you already live here.

I’d also like to inquire if there is a grooming service that we can pay for? Perhaps there’s a contractor who can provide a mobile come-to-you service and this will grow the sport more quickly and make people healthier both physically and from a Mental Health perspective, it could not be more timely and needed? What are the rates per km if anyone has those?
