March 24, 2024 - (Vernon, BC) The Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon runs April 6-7 where conditions are fabulous with world-class venues and grooming. The weekend includes two techniques over two days with the Classic 21km or 40km distances being held on the Saturday, April 6, and the Skate distances, 21km or 40km, being staged on Sunday, April 7.

Check out the exciting night of Mountain Films on April 6 at 6:30pm PST where you can relax and enjoy some of the best Mountain Films on offer courtesy of the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival.

Plus the Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon is pleased to offer a Silent Auction with over $15,000 in items made possible by our generous sponsors.

Come check it out in the Chilcoot Conference Centre when you pick up your bag at the end of the event. Everybody is welcome to make a bid, athletes, volunteers and friends and family!  Lots to choose from!  50% of proceeds go directly to our partner charity, Kidsport Vernon.

Participation is your claim to fame at the S2S! The joy of finishing is the top prize. We also have Age Awards for every 5 years and Club Championships for anyone who finishes.
