Soldier Hollow Announces Ski Free Fridays, Women’s Nordic Ski Series, Biathlon and Belgian Waffles

January 9, 2022 - Adventure awaits you at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center with snow tubing, Nordic skiing, snow shoeing and more winter fun coming this month. We recommend making advance reservations to secure the day and time that works best for your upcoming tubing and cross country ski experience. Ignite Movement offers 4-week Women’s Nordic Ski Series, Beginner & Immediate Skiers
Soldier Hollow Nordic Center is partnering with Ignite Movement, an outdoor adventure company that specializes in unique personalized experiences for women. Instructors are PSIA certified and will provide excellent instruction helping each participant feel comfortable and confident in their skills.

Each Women’s Ski Series will run for 4 weeks, starting early January and again in February. Sign up online until January 4th, or in person at the Nordic Center.

Sessions begin January 4th and will run for 4-weeks, with a new 4-week session starting February 1st. Each session will meet once a week for an hour and a half lesson. The session includes: rental equipment; boots, XC skis and poles for the day of your lesson and a full day trail pass.

Each session will cost: $280.

Discover why Biathlon is the most popular winter sport in Europe! As an “aspiring Olympian,” participants are coached by our professional staff as they learn to shoot with precision .22 Caliber Anschutz rifles that are similar to equipment used during the modern Olympic Games. All experiences are designed for participants 10 years old and up and can accommodate group sizes up to 8 people. Customized “Olympic Sliver and Olympic Gold” experiencs availalable.

Stop in for fresh coffee, hot cocoa or warm cider, or cool off with refreshing Coca Cola products or new Roonies Ice Cream bars made in Heber City.
