September 6, 2023 - NEW POSITION: Winter Activities Director for the Retreat at Silvies Valley Ranch in Eastern Oregon. Help to create a new cross-country ski venue: 5,000 foot elevation, halfway between Boise, Idaho, and Bend, Oregon in the beautiful Silvies Valley.

The five-year-old resort, a Preferred Resort, has been named one the Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World by Golf Magazine, one of the Top 12 Golf Resorts in America by the Robb report, and to the Top Six in the Northwest by Conde Nast.

The Retreat is now adding cross-country skiing and snowshoeing to its long list of winter activities – all of which are on sustainably managed private land.

The Winter Activities Director will be a year-round position with a salary of up to $120,000 (commensurate with experience), benefits, retirement, bonus, 1/4 grass fed beef/year and new housing is available as part of the compensation.
