Killing two birds with one stone ?

Since you are already registering to take advantage of the best rates (remember, before January 12th!), why not let yourself be convinced and take part in the 100k Ultra challenge Euro-sports ?

Yes, the 100K Ultra Challenge presented by Euro-sports is back! This challenge will reward the top finishers (man and woman) who will complete both the 50K Skate and the 50K Classic of the 2026 Gatineau Loppet! Prize money 500$ will be shared between the top Man ($250) and top Woman ($250) combined times!

A challenge for the little ones : the “Mini Decouverte Desjardins”
Are you participating in the Gatineau Loppet as a family, and 100 km of skiing seems a bit too ambitious for your kids? No problem!

The “Mini Decouverte Desjardins”, presented by Desjardins Hull-Aylmer, is back. A fun-focused race to introduce families to the cross-country skiing! In collaboration with Ski à l’école, Desjardins will be offering a hundred free registrations so that youngsters aged 6 to 16 can discover and be introduced to the joys of winter!

“Shake out Ski” presented by Salomon
You have been wanting to try a brand new ski collection ? What a coincidence ! Our long-standing partner Salomon will present its new 2026 cross-country ski collection at the Gatineau Loppet. Get a sneak preview and try out their new SLAB Equipe and Equipe PRO collection during a “Shake out Ski” on Saturday, February 14, at 9:00 a.m. or throughout the weekend at the Salomon booth. Skis, boots, and poles will be available depending on sizes and availability. (First come, first served).

Waxing service by Fresh Air
The local shop, Fresh Air Experience is located at 1291 Wellington St. W, Ottawa, ON K1Y 0S4 is offering waxing services for the participants of the Gatineau Loppet. The participants can drop off their skis at their shop the week of the Gatineau Loppet – or – drop them off at their kiosk in the Nordic Ski Show before 5:30p.m. on Friday the 13th of February.  The waxed skis will be returned to the kiosk the next morning to be picked up by the participants.  Note, that you must pay for this service !
