December 26, 2024 - Hopefully you can ski for hours today, but even if you have only 10 minutes… get out on this amazing snow! It’s a cool morning with a forecast of temperatures to rise quickly into the 20s. Pretty perfect.

The starting point for today is the 6″ of new snow we received on Dec. 24; still dry and powdery; and groomed as follows:
Ellis River Trail (South and North), Riverbank, Keeney, S. Hall (to Keeney), and Bengt/Wifferdill – classic and skate, small machine grooming. Also, the Troll was small machine groomed, classic & skate (the link to the parking lot is not groomed… the logistics of maneuvering the small machine on that spur made it not possible last night.

The Wentworth Loops are groomed classic & skate: Pisten Bully grooming on the machine made snow; small machine grooming on the natural snow.
In the Upper Village: Woodchuck and Wildcat Fields are skate/flat groomed; the Wildcat River bridge is not in place yet. Eagle, John, Henry & Wave are classic and skate groomed. Small machine grooming.
At Prospect: Boggy, Quail and Orchard are classic and skate, Pisten Bully grooming.
Nordic Pulse Reports are back in action, too – pls click here.
The “chart” will be back on the website by 7:30 (internet willing); but I wanted to get this report out quickly.
