March 29, 2025 - New snow today – nice dry snow that is grooming out well at Prospect – 5″ as of 7 am. Look for grooming in the village after 7 am. 

With grooming limited to the “usual 4 trails” what are the groomers doing with their time? Well, they have cut a new trail segment that will make the Troll Trail a “true loop” and enable us to host citizen and youth events right here in the village; and they have made 4 new “high rise” picnic tables, to replace some tired tables on the Ellis and a new one for the Airport!

Today: Potluck and Program
XC skiing in Norway slides and talk by recent travelers Barbara and Bill Keller and Marianne Borowski… they didn’t just ski, several other adventures, too.

Bring your favorite potluck dish/platter.
It’s great if you can let us know you are coming so we can plan the tables and chairs.
We ask that you bring your plates, flatware and cups (but we will have some on hand if that is not feasible.)
Time: 5 to 7pm, with early arrivals at 4:30pm welcome if you want a little extra social time.

Season passes for next winter are on sale at the lowest price of the season through the end of March… which is coming up soon! The early season purchase of season passes is so important and to everyone who has purchased their pass – Huge THANK YOU to the skiers who have already purchased next season’s passes!

We balance the costs of running this operation with a combination of revenue sources that include sales… the ski tickets and season passes skiers purchase, and contributions. Contributions are also critical to our continued ability to “create the extra kilometer” and even to repair the damage that every season and storm delivers.

It’s already been a great season and it’s not over yet!
