August 11, 2022 - We recently announced the completion of our stunning wedding and events pavilion, but there have been even more projects going on here at Garnet Hill Lodge. One of those that we’re thrilled to introduce is our brand new conference room, which is ideal for everything from shorter meetings to corporate retreats.
The Details Make The Space
If a functional and upscale, yet distinctly Adirondack vibe is what you’re looking for in a meeting space, you’ll love our new conference room. Featuring vaulted ceilings, real wood paneling, and large windows, you’ll feel the connection between the outdoors and the indoors, one of the unique hallmarks of our property as a whole. The entire space has been fully updated with new furniture, carpeting, and cabinetry, and the conference room opens up onto a large deck that your group can use between sessions.
The centerpiece of the room is a one-of-a-kind table built by local craftsman Don Potter. Don split a 17-foot piece of solid sapele wood (often mistaken for mahogany) to create two 8-foot tables that can be used separately or combined, depending on the needs of your group. The tables also feature branches on both ends for an added rustic touch, which were sourced from Garnet Hill’s trails.
In addition to the table and chairs, the room is equipped with a flat screen TV, microwave, sink, and refrigerator, and a fully upgraded bathroom adjoins the space. The table can comfortably seat 12-16 chairs, the room can accommodate a maximum of 30, and it costs $250 per day to rent the space.
Much More Than Just A Meeting Room
One of the best parts about hosting a meeting at Garnet Hill Lodge is that there’s so much more to enjoy beyond our new conference room.
Because we have a full-service restaurant right on site, we can cater your meeting in the conference room, or serve up drinks and food in the Log House after your sessions.
Thanks to our 850 acre property in the heart of the Adirondack mountains and access to pristine Thirteenth Lake, you also have the option of adding on team building activities, like group hikes, that can be organized and led by our Outdoor Center’s licensed guides.
If you’re visiting from out of town, you can book a few of our guest rooms or even the entire resort to upgrade a regular work trip into a true corporate retreat.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that our convenient yet remote location helps set the tone for a calm and productive meeting, training session, or retreat. Although easily accessible from Albany Airport and major metropolitan areas, like New York City, our serene Adirondack location is the ideal place to unwind, regroup and reconnect.
