May 12, 2024 - (Ketchum, ID) Galena Lodge Opening Day for the summer season is Friday, June 7th. We will be open every day from 9 – 5 with lunch served from 11 – 3:30. No reservations needed – we have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Check online to sign up for our Thursday BBQ’s with Live Music, book your yurt, or rent mountain bikes.

We have a great lineup of mountain bike clinics in June and July that range from “True Beginner” to “Intermediate Down Hills and Corners”. Sign up online for a fun supportive environment to improve your biking. If those don’t work for your schedule, we also offer private solo or small group lessons.

We still have room in several weeks of our Galena Youth Adventure Camp. Sign up online for a fantastic week of mountain biking, rock climbing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and more!

As the concessionaires of the historic Galena Lodge we’re passionate about enriching the experiences of both locals and visitors. From serving up delicious meals to hosting unique events, we offer a wide range of services. It’s our mission to make Galena Lodge a vibrant hub for outdoor activities.

Blaine County Recreation District provides recreational experiences to residents and visitors in the Wood River Valley. Not only does BCRD own the historic Galena Lodge, they also maintain over 40 miles of mountain bike trails surrounding Galena.
