December 18, 2024 - Situated in one of the most scenic parts of Canada, award-winning Mount Engadine Lodge is nestled in the Spray Valley Provincial Park within the Kananaskis Mountains in Alberta.

Built in 1987, the Lodge sits on the edge of a mountain meadow valley which was part of the bid for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Peaks surround the lodge from every direction, and one peak is Engadine Mountain, where the lodge got its name.

A true back-country resort, Engadine Lodge becomes the perfect place to cross-country ski when the snow flies. Fat bikes and snowshoes, which are free for overnight guests, are also a great way to get out and explore.

Afternoon tea service features daily baked goodies, fresh fruit, local meats and refined cheeses, while dinner is a multi-course gourmet affair and a unique dining experience with local ingredients.

For those looking for even more cross-country ski adventures there are several trail systems nearby including the Canmore Nordic Centre, 46km to the north, with a multitude of world-class trails.
