Founded by Gene Dayton in 1969, Breckenridge Nordic is a full-service destination – everything but lodging on site, and that’s virtually a snowball’s throw away. ). The 10,000-square-foot “Oh, Be Joyful” Lodge offers retail, waxing, and a wide range of rental gear including a restaurant, bar, and family lounge area with a large fireplace.

For xc skiers this is a major trail system — cumulatively 30mi/50km, with separate groomed routes for skiing (18mi/30km) and for snowshoeing (12mi/20km), along with three trailside cabins.

Breck Nordic is also home to the only North American Demo Center featuring Prinoth Husky XC snowcats and also offers exciting Snowcat Adventure Tours with full-view glass windows and comfortable leather seats.
