December 5, 2024 - This coming Saturday, December 14th is Free Ski Day on all the BCRD (Blaine County Recreation District) trails, including Galena Lodge. All passes for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing are free this day!

It is also Free Learn to Nordic Ski Day! Come up to Galena Lodge for free mini Nordic ski lessons and free gear rentals. Galena will offer free 30-minute beginner mini Nordic ski lessons from 10am to 2pm, on the hour. No advanced signup necessary.

What does this mean? On December 14th you can Nordic ski or snowshoe on any BCRD trail for free, you can come to Galena and take a beginner lesson for free and we will even let you use the rental gear for free too!

There will be other shops and brands with Demo Nordic gear to try out as well! Galena is open 9am to 4pm daily and serves lunch from 11-3:30pm.
