January 10, 2026 - Award-winning Mount Engadine Lodge is a true back-country resort that’s nestled in the Spray Valley Provincial Park within the Kananaskis Mountains in Alberta.

Each winter Engadine Lodge becomes the perfect place to cross-country ski when the snow flies. Fat bikes and snowshoes, which are free for overnight guests, are also a great way to get out and explore. Their expanded gear rental options include fat tire e-bikes another great option for adventures.

All meals are included with your stay and a two-course breakfast awaits all overnight lodge guests. The Lodge also provides a packed lunch to take on your cross-country ski or snowshoe adventures and afternoon tea service features daily baked goodies, fresh fruit, local meats and refined cheeses. Dinner is a multi-course gourmet affair and a unique dining experience.

Comfortable options include rooms in the main lodge, pet-friendly cabins, luxury glamping tents and you can also book a yurt for a truly unique experience.

Built in 1987, the Lodge sits on the edge of a mountain meadow valley which was part of the bid for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Peaks surround the lodge from every direction, and one peak is Engadine Mountain, where the lodge got its name.
