July 18, 2026 - Last week, SNØ Racing athletes traveled to Cable, Wisconsin, for this year’s Regional Elite Group (REG) Camp, joining many of the top junior cross-country skiers from across the Midwest for several days of high-quality training, learning, and camaraderie.

The camp provided an opportunity for athletes to challenge themselves alongside some of the strongest junior skiers in the region. From distance rollerski sessions and interval workouts to strength training and technique sessions, every day offered valuable opportunities to improve while enjoying the summer in Cable.
One of the highlights of the week was the 13 km time trial, where athletes had the chance to test their fitness and measure the progress they’ve made throughout their summer training. The effort provided a great benchmark as everyone continues preparing for the upcoming racing season.
Beyond the workouts, REG Camp is about more than just training. It’s an opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, train in a competitive environment, and connect with other skiers from the region.

Head Coach, Jake Stiele had a great time and describes the camp as follows:
“Snø had a great time up in Cable for the Central REG camp. It’s always fun to work alongside our region’s top juniors and get some really solid intensity workouts in on the Birkie’s rollerski track!”
Highlights were the 13km rollerski time trial, the L3 classic session on Saturday, the long run at OO, Alayna and Luci’s presentation for the juniors, and our big overdistance ski with the juniors on Sunday.”
We are already looking forward to the camp next summer!
Introducing our Board of Trustees
Over the coming year, we’ll be introducing the dedicated individuals who serve on the SNØ Racing Board of Trustees. Each board member brings unique experience, leadership, and passion that help shape the future of our organization. Their guidance and support are instrumental in helping SNØ Racing grow while ensuring our athletes have the resources they need to succeed—both on and off the snow.
We’re excited to introduce Nichole Bathe.

SNØ Racing is proud to have Nichole Bathe as part of our board and coaching team. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Nichole brings an exceptional combination of elite racing experience, international coaching expertise, and a passion for athlete development.
Nichole earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a master’s degree in Health Economics from the University of Oslo, Norway. As an athlete, she represented the United States at the U18, Junior, and U23 World Championships before competing internationally with the British National Team from 2017–2021. During that time, she raced on the World Cup circuit and represented Great Britain at the 2019 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.
Following her racing career, Nichole coached at Heming IL in Oslo, one of Norway’s premier cross-country ski clubs, where she helped develop athletes in a high-performance training environment. Today, she brings that international experience and athlete-centered approach to SNØ Racing, helping our skiers build strong technical skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the sport.
We are fortunate to have Nichole’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and leadership guiding our athletes as they pursue their goals both on and off the race course.
