January 24, 2026 - Les Routes Blanches (the White Roads) is a fabulous multi-day Nordic ski initiative in the heart of the Laurentians promoting the region’s ski heritage from the early 1900s.

Offering three spectacular routes covering more than 140km of ungroomed trails, Les Routes Blanches can be experienced separately or as an ambitious eight-day ski adventure of a lifetime.
The boutique-style East Route is an inn-to-inn XC ski journey covering 45km/28 miles over three days (or as a two-day option) for experienced skiers, that can be self-guided or fully supported by a guided package. Enjoy elegant dining and lodging at famous Far Hills Resort Hotel as you follow the tracks of Nordic pioneers Jackrabbit Johannsen and Eddy Fortier.

The West Route features the easiest trails (although still challenging), covering a total of 47km/29 miles over three days for a guided and self-guided more rustic ski adventure, with lodging in yurts and chalets. The loop route starts and ends in Morin-Heights and takes you through picturesque trails created by cross-country pioneers with breathtaking views of the Laurentian hinterland.

The North Route is the most challenging ski adventure and is for guided services only. The 34km/21-mile journey on the Mont Tremblant massif features two days of skiing and overnights at the wonderful ecolodge and nature sanctuary Le Farouche with modern a-frame cabins. Enjoy a lavish breakfast, an ascent of the Johannsen trail with lunch at the top, well-deserved après-ski delights, along with a gourmet dinner.

For cross-country ski adventures of a lifetime, Les Routes Blanches also offers introductions to Nordic Skiing. Ask about their guided packages that include hotels, meals, trail access, safety, and luggage transportation.
