December 27, 2025 - Menihek Nordic celebrated its 50th anniversary last year and boasts a five-month long ski season, receiving over 14 feet of snow each winter.

The epicentre of cross-country skiing in Atlantic Canada it features over 32km of groomed trails for classic and freestyle technique with 9km lit for night skiing and snowshoeing.

An international and national high-performance training centre, the club has hosted two FIS World Cups, the XC Ski Nationals, many Canada Cups and three Canadian Masters.

Founded in 1975, Menihek Nordic is proud to host the Great Labrador Loppet once again on March 28, celebrating its 51st anniversary. Registration is open at www.zone4.ca.

The rustic, log-sided chalet features a bar, food services, BBQ Pit, fireplace, restrooms, Wi-Fi & media equipment, along with friendly staff.
