November 8, 2025 - As the splendor of autumn diminishes, the onset of snowfall is eagerly anticipated. The Ontario Storm Watch predicts that areas such as Stokely will likely experience a significant amount of lake effect snow, similar to last year.

If you haven’t made your winter reservations yet, it’s time to book rooms for your friends and family. If you need help with our new online booking system, feel free to call the office for assistance.
We’re counting down the days until our first guests of the season arrive next month! Over the past few weeks, our team has been busy preparing the trails and putting the finishing touches on the lodge. The wood stoves are ready for cozy fires, several guest rooms have been refreshed with new carpets, blinds, and paint, and our staff can’t wait to welcome you back.

Our New Year’s Celebration will be here before you know it, as well as this year’s newly redesigned Stokely Loppet which will feature exciting new loops and family-friendly fun. We can’t wait to see familiar faces return and to welcome many first-time visitors to our magical winter haven.
As most Stokely guests know, for the past three seasons the Suomi Trail has not been maintained by the Lodge and was closed to skiers. This was due to the attempted transition of ownership and the challenging terrain of the South trail system, even though the Kargl family continued to grant access to their property. For the 2025-2026 season, the Kargl family will continue to allow access to their property and the use of the Suomi Trail. The trail will be groomed using the snowmobile and Ginzu groomer.

Our family and the Stokely crew can’t wait for the snow and for you to get here. Wishing you all Happy Holidays!
