Growing snow production (snow cannons) – where to start?
Olivier Lavoie (HDK snowmaking) will present the snow equipment and what they can do in a cross-country skiing context. Each participant will also receive an explanatory document to begin the development of their projects.

Simon DeBlois (Quebec Ski Background)

Workshop B
Participatory workshop on tracking methods and tricks during difficult conditions.
Simon DeBlois (Quebec Ski Background ) will lead this participatory meeting that will allow you to pool your working methods. During this meeting, participants will be able to discuss their experience in the field, with the aim of leaving with new techniques to test in their respective networks.

Workshop C
Historical Snow Data and Effects of Climate Change for Years to Come
Antoine Kingsbury (Quebec Ski Background ) will present historical snowmaking statistics for the province from public satellite data measuring the thickness of the snowpack. Looking forward to the future, it will also present projections of how certain decisive factors for cross-country skiing should evolve over time.

Regulations in public and private lands
Simon DeBlois (Quebec Ski Background) will present the regulatory frameworks in force in the province (in public and private territory). It will inform you about certain definitions or important considerations to consider when evaluating your development projects or repairing cross-country ski trails.
