Trapp Family Lodge’s Cross Country Ski Trails are Open for the Season

release by Trapp Family Lodge

January 2, 2021 - Happy New Year, we’ve received 3-4″ of new snow so far and more accumulation is expected throughout the day today! Our trail crew is out grooming the ski trails but coverage is still thin in spots so please use caution. Snowshoe trails are in great shape

Please check back here or trailhub.org for updates regarding trail conditions.

The Slayton Pasture Cabin is closed.

Our Trail Crew has been diligently clearing ski and snowshoe trails of trees and branches, fine-tuning drainage issues, and have all the snow fences placed to capture as much snow as possible.  Our Facilities team has been busy upgrading the Outdoor Center and Yurt to prepare to operate under pandemic regulations, and to keep all our staff and guests safe this winter.  We hope to see you on the trails as soon as there’s enough snow to open; please stay healthy and make sure that you remember to fill out our contact tracing questionnaire every day that you use our trails (don’t worry, you will see many signs reminding you of this!).

The Bierhall is open for cold beer and a delicious varied menu. Please call for reservations: 802-253-5750

The Outdoor Center retail shop has winter clothing and accessories to get you ready for this ski season!

Please ensure to read our current Covid-19 social distancing protocols. Masks are required per a Town of Stowe ordinance inside the Outdoor Center.

Stay healthy!
