February 7, 2023 - (Gatineau, Que.) The 45th edition of the Gatineau Loppet, Canada’s largest international cross-country skiing event, will be held from February 17 to 19, 2023 (Quebec). It is a major anniversary that will be celebrated in the heart of Gatineau Park and in which all cross-country ski enthusiasts are invited to participate.
Since September 30th, skiers of all levels and ages can add their names to the list of participants who will take part in 9 different events. Taking advantage of a discount, in effect until December 4, 2022, they can choose one or more races and courses:
● Friday, February 17: relay race.
● Saturday, February 18: Classic style day with 5 km, 15 km, 27 km and 50 km
events.
● Sunday, February 19: dedicated to freestyle races including 10 km, 27 km and 50 km events, as well as the traditional Mini Sport Échange Outaouais for the little ones.

The Gatineau Loppet team is committed to offering registration packages at reduced costs to encourage as many local, national and international athletes as possible to participate in this exceptional event from February 17 to 19, 2023. There will be several tiers of rates in effect leading up to the race, with the first ending December 4, 2022.
Get your passport to ski the World
The Gatineau Loppet is part of the prestigious Worldloppet circuit, which includes the 20 largest popular cross-country ski races in the world. Skiers who complete races in 10 countries, including at least two continents, will be recognized as Worldloppet Masters: an inspiring way to discover the world while living and sharing your passion.
Participants who are interested can begin their adventure by purchasing a Worldloppet passport when they register. After the event, a Gatineau Loppet official will stamp their passports to confirm the completion of one of the Worldloppet races.
They will then only need 9 more stamps to become a Worldloppet Master.
