March 11, 2026 - Join us March 28 for the 51st Annual Great Labrador Loppet hosted by the Menihek Nordic Ski Club in Labrador City. This annual event is a major cross-country skiing gathering in the region, featuring various distances and a festive atmosphere.

Embrace the challenge with beautifully groomed for classic and skate skiing, while refreshment stations keep your spirts high throughout your journey. With race distances for both youth and adults, this event has something for everyone.

There are 5,10 & 20 Km cross-country ski events and also a 10K Snowshoe event, plus 2.5km and 5km Youth Ski and Snowshoe events.

The Great Labrador Loppet is one of the most prestigious events taking place in Labarador West, and there’s a chance to win a PAL Airlines round trip ticket as well.

Don’t miss the Adult Awards Banquet and Medal Presentations at the Frozen Rooster at 6pm.

Bib pickup and free pasta supper at Menihek on Friday, March 27 at 5pm.
